How I Read Audiobooks for Free
When I started working more, I started to realize that I didn’t have nearly as much time to read as I use to. But, I love to read and I love to give book reviews, so obviously I knew I needed to do something about it. But, I honestly wasn’t sure what to do about it because I did not have a lot of extra money to buy audiobooks. That’s when I realized that libraries have audiobooks.
Now, I don’t have a CD player anymore. So, I knew traditional renting was out of the picture. But, I read a blog post about renting audiobooks from the library via their Libby app and let me tell you, it is a life saver.

All you need is your library card to sign up for an account. While you can’t always get the book right when you want it, I am able to request a ton of books at a time and wait for them to come in. This is how I am currently getting through the Harry Potter series while I am also reading Wicked Saints.
I hope you all are able to try out audiobooks. If you don’t like audiobooks, the Libby app also has ebooks. So, if you don’t care when exactly you get the book, you’ll love getting some free books or reading whatever if available on there right now. Occasionally, I will just go through the “available now” tab and binge whatever I find.
Also, if you want to find more places to listen to audiobooks besides your local library, Lovely Audiobooks put out this great list. Click here to check it out!
